Originally from Pittsburgh, where he was born and raised, Christopher received his training at the Median School. There, he graduated with a degree in orthotics and prosthetics, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career driven by his passion for making a difference in people's lives.
In September 2001, Christopher obtained his orthotics certification, further solidifying his expertise in the field. He finds particular joy in working with pediatric patients, witnessing their growth and development through the successful implementation of orthotics.

Michael (Mick) Crawford, CP, LP 
Mick is American Board Certified in Prosthetics, bringing over three decades of expertise to his work with amputees. His journey in prosthetics began in 1985, and he joined Capital Prosthetics and Orthotic Center, Inc. in 1987. As a licensed prosthetist, Mick remains at the forefront of his field by staying abreast of the latest advancements in prosthetic devices through continuous training courses.
Highly regarded for his proficiency in both upper and lower extremity prostheses, Mick adeptly navigates conventional methods as well as cutting-edge technologies like computer knees or myo-electric components. Moreover, he holds certification to work with hemipelvectomy patients, showcasing his comprehensive skill set.
Mick finds profound fulfillment in his job, knowing that he plays a pivotal role in changing people's lives, from toddlers to the elderly. Dave Riegle, CO, LO, FAAOP
Hailing from the Pittsburgh area, Dave embarked on his journey in orthotics with a solid educational foundation from Grove City College and the Orthotic Technician Training Institute. In 1985, he made the move to Columbus to kickstart his career at Capital Prosthetics and Orthotic Center, Inc. His commitment to professional development led him to pursue further education at Northwestern University in 1998, culminating in certification from The American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1990.
With over 35 years of experience in the field, Dave continues to find joy in the challenges and continuous learning opportunities presented by the ever-evolving field of orthotics. Despite nearing retirement age, his dedication to Capital remains unwavering.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dave finds fulfillment in his role as a parent to three adult children and a doting grandparent to three wonderful grandchildren. His interests extend to gardening, woodworking, and participating in a Euchre club. Dave is an active member of St. James the Less Catholic Church, where he has contributed his time and expertise to various boards and initiatives, including involvement in St. Vincent DePaul's food pantry.

Stacey R. Summerfield, LPO, CPO
Stacey is an esteemed American Board Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist, with roots tracing back to Dresden, Ohio, where she was born and raised. Her journey in Orthotics and Prosthetics began in 2010, and she brought her expertise to Capital Prosthetic & Orthotic Center, Inc. in May 2019.
Stacey's academic prowess includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from The Ohio State University, earned in 2010. She further honed her skills at the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, obtaining certificates in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Stacey shares a fulfilling life with her high-school sweetheart, with whom she has two children. Her interests are as diverse as her skill set, ranging from spending quality time with her family to engaging in outdoor activities such as running, camping, boating, snow skiing, and riding ATVs. Stacey also lends a hand on the family farm, relishing in the connection to her roots.
Stacey's passion for Prosthetics was ignited at a young age, inspired by her grandfather, who was an amputee. Megan Mills —  Columbus, OH — Capital Prosthetic Orthopedics

Megan Mills, LPO, CPO

Megan is a distinguished American Board Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist, hailing from just outside of Zanesville, OH. She brought her passion and expertise to Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, Inc. in January 2020, embarking on her residency with the company the following spring.

Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2018. Megan's commitment to excellence led her to pursue further education at the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, where she obtained her Master's Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Megan finds solace and joy in spending time outdoors with her best friend and husband, Jack. At home, Megan is kept busy by her two German Shorthaired Pointers, Clifford and Loretta, as well as her cat named Roxie.

One of Megan's long-term goals reflects her passion for both human and animal welfare. She aspires to leverage her knowledge and skills in prosthetics and orthotics to contribute to the evolution of O&P in veterinary medicine, thereby improving the quality of life for animals in need.

Megan's dedication to her craft and her compassionate approach to patient care make her an invaluable asset to the O&P community.

Katie Williamson, LPO, CPO 

Katie is a dedicated American Board Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist, originally from a small town outside of Toledo, OH. Her journey in the field of orthotics and prosthetics was sparked by her desire to help others, a passion she has pursued diligently since graduating from Ohio University in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology.

Driven by a commitment to hands-on care and making a tangible difference in people's lives, Katie continued her education at the prestigious Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, where she earned her Master's Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2021. Eager to apply her newfound expertise, Katie joined Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center after graduation.

Katie's career aspirations reflect her compassionate nature and desire to specialize in areas where she can make a significant impact. She hopes to focus on upper limb prosthetics and working with pediatric patients in the future, recognizing the unique challenges and rewards these areas offer.

Alyssa Noe - Resident Orthotist-Prosthetist
Alyssa Noe, LPO, CPO
Alyssa's journey in orthotics and prosthetics is fueled by her passion for making a tangible difference in people's lives. Hailing from a small town outside of Toledo, OH, Alyssa graduated from The Ohio State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Eager to further her expertise and pursue her calling in O&P, Alyssa continued her education at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics (IIOP)/ Florida International University (FIU), where she earned her Master's Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2022. Now, Alyssa is thrilled to bring her skills and compassion to Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, Inc., where she aims to meet inspiring individuals and deliver hope to patients working towards their goals.
With aspirations of specializing in pediatric care and upper limb prosthetics, Alyssa looks forward to the unique challenges and rewards these areas offer. Beyond her professional pursuits, Alyssa finds joy in crafting, traveling, playing sports, hiking, and spending cherished moments with family and friends.

Tanner Buharp, Board Eligible Orthotist-Prosthetist

Tanner grew up in Niceville, FL, and developed a strong work ethic and a deep sense of community. He attended Troy University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science in 2020, before pursuing a master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics, which he completed in 2021. As the first in his family to graduate from college, Tanner’s journey is a reflection of his determination, passion for hands-on work, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

In his career, Tanner is dedicated to improving patients' lives through customized prosthetic and orthotic solutions, helping them regain independence and mobility. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and golfing, as well as spending time with his dog. Tanner’s strong family values are at the core of who he is, and he brings this sense of connection and care into both his personal relationships and his professional life.

Athletic Trainer

Tyler Ruhl, AT

Tyler is a BOC approved Athletic Trainer dedicated to helping others achieve their best. He grew up in Fredericktown, Ohio, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Marietta College in 2019. His love for sports, particularly baseball and football, ignited his interest in athletic training, which later evolved into a broader passion for the healthcare field.

Tyler joined Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center in 2023 to pursue a different goal—assisting people in their everyday lives beyond athletics. Tyler has expressed that this transition has been incredibly rewarding, allowing him to make a positive impact on a wider community.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family—his wife Torrie, their son Tristan, and their Shih Tzu, Titan. He also loves being outdoors, golfing, and staying active through various exercises.

Tyler's dedication to improving the well-being of others, coupled with his love for his family and outdoor pursuits, embodies his holistic approach to life and work.
