Megan Mills, LPO, CPO
Megan is a distinguished American Board Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist, hailing from just outside of Zanesville, OH. She brought her passion and expertise to Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, Inc. in January 2020, embarking on her residency with the company the following spring.
Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2018. Megan's commitment to excellence led her to pursue further education at the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, where she obtained her Master's Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Megan finds solace and joy in spending time outdoors with her best friend and husband, Jack. At home, Megan is kept busy by her two German Shorthaired Pointers, Clifford and Loretta, as well as her cat named Roxie.
One of Megan's long-term goals reflects her passion for both human and animal welfare. She aspires to leverage her knowledge and skills in prosthetics and orthotics to contribute to the evolution of O&P in veterinary medicine, thereby improving the quality of life for animals in need.
Megan's dedication to her craft and her compassionate approach to patient care make her an invaluable asset to the O&P community.
Katie Williamson, LPO, CPO
Katie is a dedicated American Board Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist, originally from a small town outside of Toledo, OH. Her journey in the field of orthotics and prosthetics was sparked by her desire to help others, a passion she has pursued diligently since graduating from Ohio University in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology.
Driven by a commitment to hands-on care and making a tangible difference in people's lives, Katie continued her education at the prestigious Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, where she earned her Master's Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2021. Eager to apply her newfound expertise, Katie joined Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center after graduation.
Katie's career aspirations reflect her compassionate nature and desire to specialize in areas where she can make a significant impact. She hopes to focus on upper limb prosthetics and working with pediatric patients in the future, recognizing the unique challenges and rewards these areas offer.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Katie finds solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether it's going on hikes or spending quality time with family, she cherishes moments of connection and exploration. Katie's unwavering dedication to her patients and her commitment to continuous learning make her an invaluable member of the O&P community.
Tanner Buharp, Board Eligible Orthotist-Prosthetist
Tanner grew up in Niceville, FL, and developed a strong work ethic and a deep sense of community. He attended Troy University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science in 2020, before pursuing a master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics, which he completed in 2021. As the first in his family to graduate from college, Tanner’s journey is a reflection of his determination, passion for hands-on work, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
In his career, Tanner is dedicated to improving patients' lives through customized prosthetic and orthotic solutions, helping them regain independence and mobility. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and golfing, as well as spending time with his dog. Tanner’s strong family values are at the core of who he is, and he brings this sense of connection and care into both his personal relationships and his professional life.
Athletic Trainer
Tyler Ruhl, AT
Tyler is a BOC approved Athletic Trainer dedicated to helping others achieve their best. He grew up in Fredericktown, Ohio, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Marietta College in 2019. His love for sports, particularly baseball and football, ignited his interest in athletic training, which later evolved into a broader passion for the healthcare field.
Tyler joined Capital Prosthetic and Orthotic Center in 2023 to pursue a different goal—assisting people in their everyday lives beyond athletics. Tyler has expressed that this transition has been incredibly rewarding, allowing him to make a positive impact on a wider community.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family—his wife Torrie, their son Tristan, and their Shih Tzu, Titan. He also loves being outdoors, golfing, and staying active through various exercises.
Tyler's dedication to improving the well-being of others, coupled with his love for his family and outdoor pursuits, embodies his holistic approach to life and work.
