David is a graduate of Marist College and New York University School of Prosthetics and Orthtotics. David founded Capital on May 10, 1982 in Columbus, Ohio as a solo practitioner.
Since then Capital has grown to 5 offices in 2 states. David is also a holder of several US patents for his spinal bracing designs.
David is licensed by the State of Ohio to provide Orthotic and Prosthetic services. The combination of multiple certification and the years of experience enable David to provide outstanding patient service.
Outside of work David enjoys his family, traveling, collecting wine, antiques and experimenting with new gourmet recipes.

Beginning at Capital Prosthetics and Orthotic Center, Inc. in October 1991, Christopher received training through the Median School in Pittsburgh and graduated with a degree in orthotics and prosthetics. In September 2001, he obtained his orthotics certification. Christopher is married with three children. He enjoys the outdoors and sports.
Michael (Mick) began working with amputees in 1985, joining Capital Prosthetics and Orthotic Center, Inc. in 1987. He is a licensed prosthetist who stays current with prosthetic devices through training courses. Respected in both upper and lower extremity prostheses, he comfortably navigates conventional methods as well as such technology as computer knees or myo-electic components. Additionally, he is certified to work with hemipelvetomy patients.
Mick enjoys his job because he helps change people's lives, ranging from two year olds to 90 something's. "When I first meet them," he says, "I at least try to get a smile out of them before they leave." Mick is married to his wife Lisa. Together, they have raised two children.
Mick enjoys coaching high school baseball in his free time.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Chas pursued his education there at the Median School of Allied Heath Careers where he graduated in 1994. Chas began working for the Capital Prosthetics & Orthotic Center, Inc. in 1997 and became a certified orthotist in 1999. He has four children and is actively involved in their after-school activities. He enjoys body building and power lifting.
Born in the Pittsburgh area, Dave attended Grove City College and the Orthotic Technician Training Institute there. He relocated to Columbus in 1985 to start his career with Capital Prosthetics and Orthotic Center, Inc. In 1998, he took a break to attend Northwestern University in order to further him in the field. He received certification from The American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1990.
Dave enjoys the challenges and learning about the ever-changing field of orthotics, one he has been invested in for over 30 years. Dave is married to his wife Nancy. They have raised three children, all of whom are now adults. His hobbies include gardening and woodworking. He and his wife belong to a Euchre club. Dave attends St. James the Less Catholic Church, where he also serves on its school board and athletic association.
Laura was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She is a graduate of Georgia Technical Institute o f Technology with a Master’s in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After graduation she stayed in Georgia to complete her education and training. In 2017, she relocated back to Ohio and started working for Capital Prosthetics and Orthotics. Laura enjoys spending time with family and traveling to new places.
